Aeotec Door Window Sensor 7 (700 series): GEN7 window sensor
The Aeotec Door Window Sensor 7 (700 series) is a basic GEN7 sensor that detects whether your window is opened or closed. Thanks to its slim design, the sensor can be installed inconspicuously on any window. The sensor is mounted on the window casement, while a slim magnet is installed closely on the window frame.
If the Aeotec Door Window Sensor 7 fails, the core—its circuit board—can be easily replaced without removing the entire sensor. This allows you to glue the device to the window frame and replace only the circuit board when necessary.
