It provides leak detection, helping to prevent expensive bills and costly damage by monitoring for the presence and absence of water. When used to monitor tanks or pits, the sensor can alert you when water levels get too low and trigger automation routines to prevent issues.
Leak protection
The Aeotec Water Sensor 7 doesn’t just detect leaks. When connected to your Z-Wave automation system, it can take protective actions to limit damage from drips, leaks, or pipe bursts. For example, it can instruct smart water valves, including those installed on the mains pipe, to automatically close in the event of a pipe burst.
