Shelly PLUS 1 is one of the smallest, open source, WiFi-equipped device to smart control circuits. Due to its small size you can built it in behind a power socket / light switch just like a standard light switch or into an electrical cabinet. DIN-rail compatible and can be built-in to any electrical cabinets.

The device operates with a ESP8266 based control, firmware can be modified as you want through the built-in pin-bus (Sonoff-Tasmota, ESPEasy, ESPurna e.g.), can be integrated easily with own automatization server.
Like other smart switches this device has to be connected to phase wire and neutral wire too.
