The SmartWise 4-circuit smart relay switch is an ideal solution for controlling gates, garage doors, or other devices. It can also be integrated into electrical circuits for remote control via the internet. It is especially suitable for motor control, where two or more directional movements are needed, as the relay module supports interlock mode (also called locking or toggle mode). This ensures that activating one circuit automatically deactivates the others.
Like all SmartWise devices, this Wi-Fi-enabled relay is compatible with the eWeLink mobile app, which also supports Sonoff products. It supports NO/NC switching, allowing users to close or break circuits, schedule switching, and remotely control the relay and connected devices via the internet.
This Wi-Fi + eWeLink-Remote (Bluetooth) version can also be controlled using SmartWise eWeLink-Remote (BT) controllers and wireless wall switches (not compatible with Sonoff controllers).
The relay requires 5V DC USB or 85V-250V AC power to operate.
The controlled circuits are independent of the relay's power supply. The relays can switch 90-250V/10A AC or 0-30V/10A DC connected to the COM input in NO or NC mode. It is also suitable for potential-free (dry contact) switching.
With the eWeLink app on an internet-connected iOS or Android smartphone, users can control the switch remotely and set scheduled on/off times. Remote access via the app can also be shared with family members.
Compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control.
The relay can also be configured for pulse switching mode (individually for each circuit), where it either breaks the circuit after a specified short connection (e.g., 1 second) or reconnects the circuit after a brief disconnection. This version allows for configuring both pulse and interlock settings directly in the app.
Key Features:
- Wi-Fi + eWeLink-Remote (Bluetooth) Version: Control via mobile app or SmartWise eWeLink-Remote (BT) controllers and wall switches.
- Number of Controlled Circuits: 4
- Power Supply for Relay Operation: 5V DC USB or 85V-250V AC
- Controlled Circuit: Voltage-free dry contact or 90-250V/10A AC or 0-30V/10A DC (independent of the relay's power supply).
- Supports NO/NC Wiring: Close or break circuits as needed.
- Multilingual Mobile App: Free eWeLink app for iOS and Android, available in multiple languages, including Hungarian.
- State Feedback: View the current state of the relays (on/off) in the mobile app.
- Remote On/Off Control: Control the relay and connected devices remotely via the app.
- Scheduling: Multiple scheduling options, including specific times, recurring schedules, countdown timers, and cycles.
- Timed Off Feature: Configure the relay to automatically turn off after a set time.
- Pulse Switching: Configure the relay for short switch actions (e.g., 0.5 or 1 second) for each circuit.
- Interlock Mode: Ensure only one circuit is active at a time, ideal for motor control.
- Access Sharing: Share remote control access with family or others.
- Grouping and Room Management: Organize Sonoff and SmartWise devices into groups and rooms within the eWeLink app.
- Smart Control (Scene): Use the Scene feature in the eWeLink app to create conditional controls between Sonoff/SmartWise devices. For example:
- Control a Sonoff S26 outlet based on data from a TH10 relay-connected temperature or humidity sensor.
- Trigger a Sonoff or SmartWise smart switch based on input from an RF motion sensor paired with a Sonoff RF Bridge gateway.
- Synchronize the on/off actions of two Wi-Fi devices (e.g., a Sonoff light switch activating a Sonoff Wi-Fi smart socket).
Compatibility:
Works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Google Nest for voice control.
Sonoff and its sibling brand SmartWise devices are fully compatible and use the eWeLink app. The eWeLink app supports Hungarian!
NO and NC Connection Details:
The relay has three terminals:
- COM: The common input shared between NC and NO.
- NO (Normally Open): Default state is open.
- NC (Normally Closed): Default state is closed.
NO and COM Wiring: The circuit is open by default and closes when the relay switches.
NC and COM Wiring: The circuit is closed by default (powered) and opens when the relay switches. This setup is commonly used for gate openers that activate when the circuit is interrupted.
