SmartWise's latest smart touch switch product family uses the popular Zigbee smart home protocol for network communication, not WiFi, therefore a Zigbee gateway is required for smart control, but its integrated RF receiver also supports remote control from 433 MHz RF remote controllers and wireless RF wall switches. When used together with Sonoff Zigbee Bridge or SmartWise Zigbee Bridge Pro, it is compatible with eWeLink app.
The Z3-L version is a 3-gang touch switch version, featuring white glass touch panel without frame. This is the single-live-wire product version, no neutral wire is needed for installation, so you may surely use this to replace your tradtional live / phase wire only switch.
Thanks to its built-in Zigbee chip, it can be connected to a Sonoff or SmartWise Zigbee gateway, and is also tested to be compatible with the Tuya / SmartLife and SmartThings Zigbee gateways.
Thanks to its RF receiver, the SmartWise T1R wireless RF switches can be used as a wireless 2-way / 3-way switch within the RF range and, of course, can be paired with Sonoff and SmartWise 433MHz RF remote controllers, too.
Of course, you may use the wall switch to turn on or off the lamp just as we would with a traditional touch switch. But it is also a nice solution for Zigbee based smart control of any lights, to control remotely you lights, set up automations and scheduled on/off switching. Can also be used as a security solution to provide presence simulation, that is, to make the outside world believe you are at home.
Please note that this single-live-wire product comes with a small anti-flicker module, included in the product box. This anti-flicker module needs to be installed not at the switch but at the controlled electric device (e.g. lamp or bulb) to the live and neutral wires.
In most cases the single-live-wire switch cannot work without this small module installed, or it may cause the lamp to turn on/off randomly or the light may flicker.

- Size according to EU standard: 86x86mm front of the switch, which is the size of the front according to EU standard
- Zigbee 3.0 switch - compatible with Sonoff and SmartWise Zigbee Bridges, Tuya and SmartLife compatible Zigbee gateways and SmartThings hub. It can be connected to the Zigbee hub's own smartphone app. In case of connecting to an eWeLink Zigbee hub, it can be paired with eWeLink app.
- 433MHz RF / radio control support - can be connected to RF remote controllers, and SmartWise RF wall switches (Works only with fixed code RF remote controls, does not support jump code remote controls.)
- Status Query - The mobile app displays the current status of the switch (on or off)
- Remote ON / OFF - Wherever you are, you can now remotely turn the switch on or off from the mobile phone app over the internet
- Timing - Several timing functions are available, depending on your Zigbee gateway capabilities.
- Inching (auto-off) and interlock mode (for multi-gang switches) is not available when using eWeLink compatible (Sonoff or SmartWise) Zigbee Bridges.
- Additional features, such as sharing, Groups / Rooms, Automations (Smart Scene control) is depending on the capablities of the connected Zigbee Bridge.
Important: This smart switch type requires only live (phase) wire, neutral wire is not needed!
