Sonoff RE5V1C is 5V WiFi relay module, with momentary switch (also called as inching by Sonoff). Just like a standard SONOFF switch, you can use it to work with eWelink app, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, IFTTT..etc. Ideal solution for remote control of motorized gates, garage doors, or other electric devices/circuits.
The RE5V1C WiFi smart relay is different from other Sonoff relays (and SmartWise 5V-32V relays). To connect wires you have to solder them into the relay.
The 5V DC input, nano size and dry-contact output makes it different from traditional SONOFF product, this product is a wireless switch supports inching /self-locking mode. Users can add the device to the APP eWeLink in order to remotely control connected home appliances or devices. In self-locking mode, customers can remotely turn on/off connected devices immediately.
The product enables remote control of home appliances through the mobile application eWeLink, available on both Android and iOS. Supported functions include:

There are two working modes for the product: inching mode and self-locking mode. Users can press the self-lock/inching mode button to switch between these two modes.
When the module is switched to self-locking mode, users can turn on/off the connected appliance instantly. When the module is switched to inching mode, users can press on/off toggle button to turn on or off connected device.
