The Sonoff THR320D is the new R3 version of the Sonoff TH smart relay family. The THR320D is a WiFi enabled, remote-controllable smart relay that can be remotely controlled from a mobile phone via the internet. However, the new model is not only capable of 230V (max. 20A) switching, but also voltage-free switching. Also thermometer, humidity sensor and soil moisture sensor can be connected to THR320D, and can also be controlled automatically based on measured temperature/humidity/soil moisture data. Instead of the jack plug connector of the previous R2 version, the R3 version is now equipped with an RJ9 connector socket. The Elite version has an LED display which also shows the measured data on the screen, updated every 5 seconds. One of the new features of the R3 version is that the measured data is uploaded in the cloud and the app can also display a historical data from the previous 6 months.
Compatible with the following sensors:
- Sonoff THS01 temperature and humidity sensor (suggested);
- Sonoff SI7021 temperature and humidity sensor;
- Sonoff AM2301 temperature and humidity sensor;
- Sonoff DS18B20 temperature sensor (waterproof);
- Sonoff MS01 soil moisture sensor.
Operating modes can be set in the eWeLink app:
- Manual: the device can be switched on/off from the eWeLink app by the user manually
- Automatic: temperature/humidity/soil moisture (only one can work at a time) values can be set for multiple times of day and periods and the relay status will change accordingly based on the set values
The THR16D is able to send a push notification if the relay status changes or the measured value is below/above the set limit.
The THR320D is the new R3 version that also switches the 230V it receives for operation through the 230V output at the bottom of the relay, and also switches the voltage-free NO/NC outputs at the top of the relay:
- When the relay state is OFF: the 230V phase output is OFF, and the COM-NC inputs are connected.
- When the relay state is ON: the 230V phase output is ON (230V, max. 20A) and the COM-NO inputs are connected.
