Sonoff's smart water valve is a smart Zigbee 3.0 solution for irrigation control (with IP55 outdoor water and dust resistance), which can be integrated with a Sonoff eWeLink Zigbee 3.0 gateway or other compatible standard Zigbee 3.0 gateways and coordinators, such as Sonoff Zigbee Bridge Pro, Sonoff Zigbee Bridge Ultra, Sonoff Dongle Plus E coordinator, and Sonoff NSPanel Pro (with Zigbee hub). When used together with the older Sonoff Zigbee Bridge or Amazon Alexa Zigbee hub, then only remote on/off feature is supported.
This reliable irrigation water valve offers easy integration with many smart home systems, including the eWeLink cloud smart home system, or other many other smart home systems including a Zigbee 3.0 gateway or coordinator. The valve is also compatible with platforms like Home Assistant through the Zigbee Home Automation (ZHA) integration.
Simply connect the Zigbee smart water valve between a faucet and a hose to make your irrigation smart. It enables users to manage watering for lawns, gardens, and vegetable patches via a Zigbee network, facilitating seamless integration into smart home ecosystems.
It supports scheduled watering and remote control, so that you will never ever forget to turn on watering again, because your irrigation can now be fully automated. By using smart irrigation, you can be sure about the health of your garden and plants, even if you are away for travelling or business a lot, busy on the weekends, your calendar is full of tasks, or just need the convenience of an automated irrigation.
The Sonoff Zigbee smart water valve supports schedule mode and capacity mode, supporting both single and cyclic irrigation. By using the shedule mode, you can set (single or repeating times of) on and off times. By using capacity mode, you can set how many liters of waters you need to use for (single time or regular) irrigation.
eWeLink Zigbee wateways also support voice control by Amazon Alexa, Google Alexa so that irrigation can be also activated by voice.
The device is powered by battery (not included with the products). In case of 1 hour per day use, the battery may last as long as 20 months.
The device can also be used to track water usage for up to 180 days in the eWeLink app (when used with an eWeLink Zigbee gateways) and also to track your watering costs, and be able to optimize water usage and save watering costs.
