Modules:

The YLFWD-0010 is the base unit of the Yeelight Cube Light system, providing connection to smart home systems via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth protocols. It also powers the attached modules.

The YLFWD-0007 is an additional LED matrix module (sold separately), with up to 5 modules attachable to the base unit. Each add-on module is also a 25-LED matrix capable of displaying patterns, animations, or even text messages. The YLFWD-0007 modules connect to the YLFWD-0010 base unit, allowing a total of 6 cubes (1 base + 5 add-ons). Add-on modules do not work independently and always require the YLFWD-0010 base unit for operation.

The modules of the Yeelight Cube Light system physically connect by stacking them on top of each other. Each module (base unit and additional LED cubes) is equipped with special contact connectors on the top and bottom, allowing energy and data transmission. Simply stack the modules, and the connectors automatically align, creating the energy/data connection. The modules are usually secured with a magnetic mechanism, making assembly easy and keeping the cubes stable.
